We are a community association based in Byker Community Centre, since 1986 (although the building has been here since 1928) where we offer a multitude of activities and services, implemented by ourselves and in partnership with a variety of local and community organisations from all around the city. We have many adults and children with disabilities, who we provide activities for as well as training and volunteer opportunities.

Our age range is 0 to 90 and we are a fully inclusive space with projects for all abilities, from rock and roll band sessions for adults with disabilities, to our baby dance group, Art for the over 50's and adults with Learning disabilities. We also provide a space for a mediation group and are active in aiding local people to take part in their community; support positive changes and challenge discrimination. Our volunteers come from different backgrounds and we have organically become a safe space for those with mental health concerns and those socially isolated so are currently working on formulating support and projects around those needs.

We directly help the local community, offering room hire to local groups and services that directly support the community (for example, our Women's Group) and  implement our own groups based on community needs and the changing political climate.

We work in partnership with Byker Community Trust - Byker Co. Prince’s Trust- Cranfield Trust-
